The purpose of art is to lay bare the questions that have been hidden by the answers. – James Baldwin, writer
I was invited to present on the topic of Beauty and Human Flourishing at the 2023 "Beauty At Work: An International Symposium" on the role of beauty in business, art, design, history, politics, and education happening in Washington D.C.
For my presentation, I was inspired to bring a recent dream of mine to life through my art.

We flourish when we express ourselves and our perceptions creatively, and when we share and receive those expressions with each other.
The work of the mature person is to carry grief in one hand and gratitude in the other and be stretched large by them. – Francis Weller, noted psychotherapist and author.
